About Me
My background
Growing up Amber was an impossibly shy little kid. Sports gave her the confidence to fight daily life battles and the opportunity to make the lasting and significant friendships. Amber earned a scholarship to run track and cross country at Northeastern University where she also graduated high honors with a doctorate in Physical Therapy. Amber is passionate about PT and is also a life long athlete. She raced her first sprint triathlon in 2008 on a mountain bike, fell in love and then went on to race her first Ironman in 2009 and then on to win Ironman Lake Placid in 2014. She also qualified for the Ironman World Championships as an age-grouper as well as a Pro. She has competed in 65 Professional Ironman events all over the world.

Bio
Amber Ferreira is an Ironman Champion, 3x National Snowshoe Champion, Ironman Lake Placid Champion, runner up at the Ironman North American Championships in Canada and has completed 65 Professional Ironman events around the world. She has multiple Ironman podiums at the professional level and is a fierce and relentless competitor and athlete who loves a good battle in the race arena.
Amber has a doctorate in Physical Therapy and is the head coach and owner of the Granite State Endurance Project. GSEP is a New Hampshire based sports team with a mix of triathletes, ultra runners and long distance swimmers.
